I met Cassidy when she was visiting Nashville before making the move to become a Belmont student. I found her to be keenly focused, undeniably talented and the owner of a voice that cuts to the heart of things without any needless embroidery, a trait I value. "Bonfire" was our first co-writing effort, a vivid portrait of summer nights enjoyed in her native upper New York State environs. Most who hear it proclaim it a winner and I will, in all immodesty, happily concur. Somebody give this kid a record deal!
